The thinking board
The live diagram that grows out of your own words.
The board is the panel beside the chat that draws your thinking as you go.
What lands on it
Only what you actually said. The scribe reads the conversation and maps your points: ideas you stated, connections you drew, questions you raised. It never adds the assistant's opinions, because the assistant does not have any.
What the shapes mean
- Rectangles are points you made
- Diamonds are open questions you raised
- Arrows are connections you drew between ideas
Consolidate
Long sessions accumulate nodes. The consolidate action reorganizes the board into a cleaner map: duplicates merged, filler removed, separate threads given their own branches. It stays true to what you said, just tidier.
Why it matters
Thinking out loud is easy to lose. The board makes your reasoning visible and testable: when you see your own argument drawn out, gaps and contradictions become obvious in a way they never are in a chat scroll. At the end, the board and the receipt together are the record of how you got to your decision.
